Run. Reset. London. 2027.
6 women. 26.2 miles. One questionable decision.
In April 2027, six women from the Move Reset community will be taking on the London Marathon together.
And no, we’re not six lifelong runners.
We’re six women with jobs, families, busy lives, different running backgrounds and a fairly significant challenge ahead of us.
But that’s exactly why we’re doing it.
The Move Reset Marathon Crew is about showing what can happen when women decide to take on something that feels a little bit bigger than them, support each other through the messy middle and keep putting one foot in front of the other.
Over the coming months, we’ll be sharing the whole journey.
The long runs. The early alarms. The strength training. The fuelling. The setbacks. The ridiculous WhatsApp messages. The days when running feels brilliant and the days when we question every decision that led us here.
Because this isn’t just about getting around 26.2 miles.
We’re running for something bigger.
The idea to run for Keep a Child Alive came from a very personal connection. Our friends Carly & Leon, moved over to Costa Rica nearly three years ago. Whilst they were there, their son Bowie became very unwell. During this extremely sad and difficult time, a conversation between two people with the same lived experience, led Leon to his role within this amazing charity, Keep a Child Alive.

Leon is the Head Coach of Team KCA at Keep A Child Alive. He leads the organisation’s global charity running programme by coaching and mentoring runners of all experience levels, helping them achieve their personal goals while raising critical funds to support children and families around the world.
After one of our Run & Reset events, sitting together over a BBQ, the conversation turned to London 2027 and what we could do with the opportunity.
And somewhere in that conversation, the Move Reset Marathon Crew was born.
Now we want to make the miles count.
More than a marathon
Between now and London, we’ll be organising a series of Move Reset events and challenges to raise as much money as we can.
Expect plenty of movement, community and probably a few slightly questionable ideas along the way.
Most importantly, we want people to be part of it.
Come to an event. Run with us. Walk with us. Share what we’re doing. Donate if you can. Or simply follow along as six ordinary women find out what happens when they commit to doing something extraordinary.
There will be PBs for some of us.
There will almost certainly be walking for some of us.
There may be tears.
There will definitely be snacks.
Follow the journey
We’ll be sharing our training, fundraising events and the stories of all six women as we make our way towards the London Marathon 2027.
Run. Walk. Breathe. Dip. Reset.
This is the Move Reset Marathon Crew.
And we’re just getting started.
